Executive Principal

Luke taught for 4 years in an inner-city school in Leeds and then moved into middle management at the high performing Dixons City Academy in Bradford.  

As a participant on the Future Leaders programme, he worked as a senior leader at Mossley Hollins High School in Greater Manchester and then Dixons Allerton Academy in Bradford, before being appointed as Principal of Dixons Trinity Academy.  

Dixons Trinity, Bradford, opened in September 2012 and receives over 12 applications for each place, making it one of the most popular free schools in the country.  In January 2014, Dixons Trinity became the first secondary free school to be judged Outstanding by Ofsted.

Luke is also Executive Principal of Dixons Music Primary, an Outstanding two-form entry specialist music primary school located on the same site as Dixons Trinity Academy, Dixons Allerton, the Trust's first all-through school and Dixons Trinity Chapeltown, a new all-through school in Leeds.
