Nakba Day

This Monday marked the 75th anniversary of Nakba Day. Nakba Day is the day of commemoration for the Nakba, also known as the Palestinian Catastrophe, which comprised the destruction of Palestinian society and homeland in 1948, and the permanent displacement of the majority of Palestinian people.

Dixons Trinity commemorated this in different ways. Students studied a poem during DEAR and in each lesson spotlights were shared of renowned and inspiring Palestinians. The academy also kindly fundraised for Palestine and it was a great effort by all.
