Former Dixons Trinity student lands West End role

Posted 4th July 2025

Earlier this year, former Dixons Trinity student, Solomon Gordon, landed a role in the West End production of the Lion King. Solomon is the understudy for Simba and will be stepping into the lead role this July.

During his education at Dixons Trinity, Solomon participated in weekly peripatetic singing lessons with Miss Stacey, and enjoyed co-curricular music sessions with Mr Lewalski and Mr Stevenson to prepare for showcases.

Solomon said: "The music department at Dixons Trinity really helped me build the foundation of who I am as an artist. It grew my confidence and taught me vocal and performance techniques."

It's fantastic to see Dixons students, past and present, working hard to secure opportunities to showcase their talents and skills. We wish Solomon the best of luck for his debut West End performance!
