Y9 Duke of Edinburgh Expedition

Event Date: 10.07.2018

One of the most important features of Dixons Trinity is our commitment to providing core experiences for all our students.  This expedition will be set in the beautiful surroundings of the Yorkshire Dales.  Students will participate in their final Duke of Edinburgh expedition to reinforce our core values of hard work, trust and fairness and in order to demonstrate their progress over the course of this academic year.  To complete the Duke of Edinburgh award, students will walk approximately 20 miles over two days and spend one night camping.

Students will leave for the Yorkshire Dales on the morning of 10 July and will return home on the afternoon of 11 July; members of the academy staff will accompany the students.

The cost of the residential is fully funded by the academy.

If you have any questions regarding this expedition, please do not hesitate to contact Mr Trueman (Head of Year) or Mr Patterson (Vice Principal).
