Dixons Trinity Chapeltown
Dixons Trinity Chapeltown will be a two-form entry (60 places) primary and four-form entry (112 places) secondary school serving the Chapeltown / Harehills area of Leeds.
Although, as a school, we were ready to open both phases in September 2017, the site for the secondary phase near Barrack Road / Roundhay Road will not be made available by Leeds City Council until September 2018.
The primary phase of the school will open with 30 Reception children on its site in temporary accommodation in September 2017. The site is off Leopold Street, LS7.
As a new school, we did not feature in the Leeds City Council schools admissions guide this year. As such, families were unable to list the school as one of their 5 preferences. However, they can apply directly to Dixons Trinity using the application form at the bottom of this page or online at www.dixonstc.com.
This means that, for primary admissions, on 18 April 2017, families will receive an offer from Leeds City Council and may also receive an offer from Dixons Trinity. They can then decide which offer they want to accept. With two offers, families would be in a very strong position.
Families can still apply to Dixons Trinity even if they have already completed their application to Leeds City Council. Essentially, we are offering families an extra preference and more choice.
If the academy is oversubscribed, priority for admission will be given to those who live closest to the academy using straight-line measurement from the main entrance of the Academy to the main entrance to the child’s home (our full admissions arrangements can be accessed on our website).
Please return the application form to Dixons Trinity in Bradford (address is on the form). Alternatively, families can bring it to our open event or complete the form online at www.dixonstc.com.
